Net Search - Women at work

As examples of women in jobs that are traditionally done by men, I have choosen the following three:

- Carme Chacón Piqueras (Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona, March 13, 1971) is a Spanish politician who is currently serving as Minister of Defence in the cabinet Spanish Prime Minister Luis Rodriguez Zapatero. Defence is the Ministery that rules the Army, and this is a sector traditionally ruled by men. Chacón is the first woman is the history of Spain to rule this Ministery.

- Carme Ruscalleda (Sant Pol de Mar, Maresme, 1952) is a famous Catalan chef of restaurant Sant Pau in Sant Pol de Mar, which has three Michelin stars. Famous cooks are usually men, and the success of Mrs. Ruscalleda is very remarkable. This is quite paradoxical, while within familes women are who traditionally cook for everybody, in top restaurants the most relevant cooks are men.

- Helen Elizabeth Clark (born February 26, 1950) is the 37th and current Prime Minister of New Zealand. She is New Zealand's second female Prime Minister and has been in office since December 1999, entering her third successive term in 2005. In the World it isn't so common to find women ruling countries at the top level.
