Dreaming

I'd like to write about my Dreaming, it's not a drawing, as in the case of the aborigginal art, if not a design I made for a gift I gave to my girlfriend: It was a ring. I thought on a design that could symbolize my feelins to her and the experiences we've lived together so far. Besides it's said that a ring is considered as a symbol of a perdurable union towards the gifted one.

The first thing I choosed was the material; it had to be golden gold because of it's not a material that could be affected by any kind of fashion. It's just Gold, the same that our parents and all of our ancestors knew and gifted to themselves, and the same that our sons and their sons wi'll continue gifting to themselves. So this material symbolizes the feeling: Love.

Another issue for the dessign was the ring itself. I thought on two thins golden criss-crossed lines. These lines symbolize ourselves, living together our own lifes crossed one to each other. Also I designed some points (three) that were criticals where the lines were in conflict, this symbolizes our daily conflicts. And finally the lines of the ring envolved a red stone. That symbolizes the heart, the passion. It had to be a strong and pure red, and by the way; It resulted to be very expensive too!

I must say that she liked the gift very much.

And who wouldn't??? I feel happy as I check there's in Earth a man who can be so sensitive and capable to express his feelings not only with words, but also making his imagination work and result in a lovely and tender present.
