1. What are common names where you come from?
Here in Barcelona there are a lot of common names. For example, some of them are Miquel, Marc, Jordi, Montserrat, Eva and Sandra.

2. Is your family name common?
No. I don't know anyone with the same family name. Just a famous actor who gives his voice in the Woody Allen's films.

3. Does your family name tell you anything about your family? (e.g. where you come from)
More or less. My family name is usual in Lleida, but my father borned in Huesca.

4. Some English names refer to trades or professions, e.g. Butcher, Baker. Does your name mean anything? Are there any names in your country that do?
Yes of course. There a lot of names in Spain too.

5. Are any names from other countries popular in your country? Which ones?
Yes there are, but usually are woman names like Sheyla, Jennifer...

6. In your country when you meet someone for the first time what name do you use? How do you know when you can use their first name?
I use the firstname ever. Maybe I use my surname if I'm in a class.

7. In your country do you ever use surnames without a title, (e.g. Mrs, Mr)? When could you do this? Why would you do it?
Yes. Here in Spain we use Señor or Señora. Usually this is used for letters.

8. There are common pet names in English that show affection, like: honey, darling or pet. What words are used in your language?
In Spanish we say cariño, querido/a, amor...
