To be honest, I never have needed a private investigator services. I think that it’s an interesting work, every day is different. Also I think they can take some risks (violent husbands, angry employees, etc).
About me, honestly I have not very strange works, I have been working 14 years at University of Barcelona and I have had for 10 years a computer shop.

• Would you ever employ a private investigator?
No, I have never employed a private investigator.
• Have you ever had any experiences with them?
No, I’ve seen on TV, but I’ve never known any private investigator. I have a really peacefully live.
• Would you like to do this job? Why/why not?
When I was younger, I enjoyed policies films and series on TV, and I would like to be an investigator, but now I think that this is a boring job with a lot of wait times.
• What strange or interesting jobs have you had?
I worked as a swimming trainer with children, who learn to swim, and another interesting job was a dancing folkloric (sardanas) trainer with young people.

Would you ever employ a private investigator?
No, I have never employed a private investigator for myself but for my company, yes, I have.

Have you ever had any experiences with them?
I sometimes told with different private investigators when my company hired them, because we had to explain our interests.

Would you like to do this job? Why/why not?
No, I would’nt. I think it is necessary to be a very special person and I’m a very common one.

What strange or interesting jobs have you had?
When I was young, I worked as waiter and news paper distributor. After I finished my studies, I worked as employee and now I work as chief executive. I was for two years functionary in my parents village town hall, and I think this is the most inusual work I had.

I have never employed a private investigator.

• Have you ever had any experiences with them?
Yes. I have a friend who has employed a private investigator due to discoverer the private life of his ex wife. He wanted to know if she has another couple and where she was living, because in that moment he was paying her quite money each month.

• Would you like to do this job? Why/why not?
I think it could be quite interesting. Sometimes I imagine the histories about people life and I could see me like an investigator (doing photos, DNA’s test, …) trying to solve their problems and doing law. However, in my opinion it could be a little dangerous in particular situations.

• What strange or interesting jobs have you had?
Three years ago, when I finished my degree I started to work in the Catalan administration. We do a lot administration tasks so my job isn’t very interesting and sometimes a little boring.

Would you ever employ a private investigator?
Why not? If sometimes I consider necessary to employ one, I would do without any doubt.
Have you ever had any experiences with them?
Up till now I have never had any experience with them, at least being conscious!
Would you like to do this job?
In my actual job I do a little bit like a private investigator. Sometimes I have to "discover" if there are some trace molecules, eg. biomarkers, contaminants, drugs, etc. in a sample.

Yes I would employ them if I need a private investigator; until know I never had experiences with them.
I’m sure I don’t have the qualities for this job and I find it too dangerous; for these reasons I prefer to employ one if I need something.

What about you? Would you ever employ a private investigator? Have you ever had any experiences with them?
- No, I don’t. My life is very boring, without secrets, so I’ve never employed a private investigator and I haven’t had experiences with them.

Would you like to do this job? Why/why not?
- No, I don’t. All I know about private investigators it is watching TV. Sometimes it seems very dangerous; sometimes it seems very boring, looking for details, evidences ... I prefer other kinds of work.

What strange or interesting jobs have you had?
- I’ve always worked as a librarian.
