As I know, private investigators work on cases of adultery, for divorce cases where the amount to divide is really high. They also work in cases of teenagers whose parents think that they are taking drugs and overall they work for companies.
Since the services of a private investigator are not cheap, most customers are usually companies or attorneys. Many companies employ them when they suspect that their employers are lying, pretending to be ill when they aren’t.
I don’t think that I ever hire a private investigator, because I hope not to be in anyone of these situations. I wouldn’t like to work as a private detective, it looks very risky and difficult. Besides this, I usually do not pay close attention to details so I couldn’t be a good investigator.
I’ve worked for 5 years in an IT department as a Help Desk Engineer and Network Manager. Then I began to work in a Marketing department of the same company for 4 years. After that I worked as a Marketing Manager of an aesthetic company, and now I’m an engineer of the Catalan Civil Service, that is the job I like most.
