To get to Torquay from London, the fastest kind of transport is the plane. Plymouth Airport has regular flights from London to Torquay. It can be the most expensive transport, but maybe the safer and the most confortable, because going by bus or car can suppose a very long way.

2. Torquay
Now, I'm going to make five quize questions about Torquay, and if someone wants, he or she can answer them.

1. Where are located Torquay, on the north coast or on the south coast of England?
2. You can find beaches in Torquay or it's a interior city?
3. In which month takes place the event of Santa in the Caves?
4. All kind of accommodation can be found in Torquay?
5. Are there local language schools in Torquay?

Hi Paula,

I don't know if the fastest kind of transport is the plane to get to Torquay, because I don't Know if Torquay has airport. I found in Internet information about the quickest possible route from London to Torquay, as a result the best public transport is the train, you need to start your journey in London Paddington and you must take the First Great Western towards Penzance that it leaves at 10:06, you arrive to Newton Abbot to 12:30, then you need to take First Great Western towards Paighton at 12:41 and you arrive to Torquay at 12:52. The journey from London to Torquay has 2 hour and 46 minutes of duration by train.

About Torquay, I would like to have some questions:

1. Do you know what the nickname of Torquay is?
2. How do you can arrive to Torquay?
3. What does the town’s economy be initially based?
4. What did writer live most of her life in Torquay?
