About the dolphins I think many things. In general are an animals very greatful, are darling, likeable and very funny because they are tought to show for all the people their skills with some balls and others instruments. They are very intelligent too and this is the reason why I believe the history about the possibility to help Nikki to speak. I believe that some kind of animals can help to improve the selfconfident to grow some different skills.
