We live in a two-story house in El Masnou, a coastal town near Barcelona. It is a typical construction in my city. However, in the periphery and in other nearby cities of Barcelona, the apartment buildings are more common.
Downstairs is the garage. We live on the first floor. Above is the terrace from which you can see a good view or even a chunk of sea (the neighboring houses are low).
The house is not very big but it is very well distributed.
The dining room and the living-room are spacious and sunny. With a gallery with large windows.
We have 4 rooms and two bathrooms.
I love living here. The area is very central and with shops and services. It is easy to move to Barcelona and enjoy the life of the capital.
But best of all is the sea. A walk along the promenade and, in summer, go to the beach to sunbathe.
The measure of the house is perfect. The only thing I would like to have is a garden with plants and a porch for outdoor meals.
When we moved, we made some changes in the distribution. The main work was to divide a huge bathroom in order to have two bathrooms. It was a wise decision ... and very practical.
