Misunderstood directions

Well, when one is travelling abroad the most important thing we must be able to do is speaking the foreign language at least english. And in some cases it's quite possible to have lost. Tha's why Kumiko had lost on the way to Turkey. She could barely speak english, she was alone...in fact I guess she was to much fearless or naif... One have to plan the journey, bring a guidebook and outline a route with a bunch of facts.... So for someone who's travelling on their own and did not gather relevant and correct information it's quite plausible to get lost on a foreign country or region.

I can't recall any situation like this where I found myself involved.
