1. What do you think?
I think it's possible that one person who doesn't know very well a country could travel two or three hours on a train and think he has arrived in another far country, but it's true too which that person should learn more geography.

2.-Misunderstandings
At this moment I don't remember any case this way that had happened around me but it can occur for example with one person of other countries who comes to Spain and ask another person for a city or suburb. If people doesn't know the language of the country it's hard for they to differenciate similar words.
