being eco-friendly

Well, I scored 1 point which means that I'm eco-friendly according to the quiz. I read other posted answers and they were all eco-friendly. I do care about the ecological impact of chemicals, atmospheric pollution and saving biodiversity. Years ago people's concerns were more like good manners and social behavior. But as the years went by people became more aware of the impact that their daily life attitude could have on the environment. So, now most of us avoid doing some sort of things such as throwing out the window a disposable packaging not only as good manners attitude but mainly as an ecological concern.
I think of myself as eco-friendly even though I still think I'm not as much as I could and would like to be.
In Portugal it's easy to be eco-friendly. We have a lot of recycling bins on the streets so it's easy to separate almost all sorts of garbage e.g. papers, plastic, glass, organic, batteries, broken bulbs, old or damaged electrical hardware...
