Dolphins

I've been looking for the dolphin's amazing live and their capabilities on the communication, education with children and people with mental diseases, their natural simpathy and the legends with sailing histories rescuing lost people on the sea and protecting them against the sharks, and all that.
First of all, it seems that dolphins would be the smartest animal specie; excepting the humans of course. That means that dalphins are smarter than dogs or monkeys. Subsequently if there's any animal who could use a language that would be the dolphin. In fact it's quite evident that they communicate themselves by their own language. By now we still don't know how rich is this language.
Dolphins are used as a key for therapie with people like Nikkie, and it works!. I don't know but maybe the fact that they're mammals as hummans, they're courious by their environtment and have a natural affection for other mammals species, their basic communication skills... all that makes them as a good way to interact with people who is in trouble to communicate as usual.
I don't like to think that dolphins would have been used for military objectives. Army can have tried it, why not?; as a messengers, etc. But my God!; don't allow them to use them for that purpose. They'd lose such an innocence...
