I come from Catalonia and I think that the most commnon names in this country are Montserrat, Mercè, Marta and Laura, for girls, and Jordi, Marc, Albert and Joan for boys.
With regard to my family name, this is very very common in all Spain, and because of it, my name doesn’t tell anything about where I come from.

In Catalonia, there are some names mean professions as Ferrer (Blacksmith), Fuster (Carpenter) or Moliner (Miller). With regard to my surname, it doesn’t refer to a profession, it means “príncipe de vista agraciadaâ€
