Jamaican houses suggest a little about the island story. the types and varieties are many, but depict the african and the european (particularly the English and the Spanish) especially with the older ones.
Today's houses are built primarily with cement, sand, concrete and steel, but there's still a large part of the population that use lumber and zinc roof (the cheapest option).
