I don’t think that Kumiko’s story is true. I can’t understand how Kumiko could believe that she had arrived in Turkey after only three hours joureny. Another thing that seems incredible is the fact that she wanted to go by plane and she doesn’t care to travel by train.
Misunderstandings
I haven’t had any experience in this sense, but it could happen easily that you reach one place instead of another with similar name but never with such a long distance one from the other.
