In another search, I found a general page with information about my family name. On this page say that in Spain there are only 512 person with this family name. And most of them live in Barcelona.
However it’s difficult to know how Muntané there because there are many versions of this family name like Muntaner, Muntaner or Montané.
Ramón Muntaner was a famous man in fourteenth century, was writer and almogavers formed part of an army of the Crown of Aragon who struggle in the Mediterranean between the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. Ramon Muntaner also was a writer and his book of chronicles has been translated into many.
Another famous Muntaner was Domenech i Muntaner, was an architect of the Catalan Modernism. Now we are preserved many buildings, some of witch are patrimony of humanity, such as the Palace of Music in Catalonia, Hospital de Sant Pau and the Casa Fuster.
