jobs for men, jobs for women

jobs for men, jobs for women

Spain is a very male chauvinist country, but in the last 10 years the progress in this society problem has increased substantially.
Since last ten years jobs like lorry driver, plumber, electrician, construction worker, all kind of mechanicals, architects and all kind of engineers (aeronautics engineer, mechanical engineer, civil engineer, ...) were exclusively men's jobs. Nowadays most part of lorry drivers are men, but the number of women engineers and architecs is increasing spectaculary.
Jobs like nursery teacher, nurse, beautician, hairdresser, secretary, recepcionist continue to be women's ones, but is not so strange to find a man in a recepcion. I recognize that it would be quite embarrassing for me to be assisted by a (man) beautician, but if happens to me in the near future, it would be a good new.
