Which jobs are traditionally for men and which are for women?

I think works that involve physical effort are often done by men such as mining, bricklayer, etc. On the other hand, we can find mostly women in works connected to health and children such as nurses, nannies, etc.

Is this situation changing now?
Nowadays, there are laws which aim to achieve sexual equality between the sexes, so more and more, you can find women doing hard works like men, and vice versa, men looking after children.

Use the Internet to find out what the gender gap in earnings is.

Gender gap refers to the differences in the wages of men and women, because of discrimination.

Find examples of men doing jobs that were previously considered to be women's jobs and women doing men's jobs.

For example, nowadays, people who take care of an injury or illness may be women or men, but in the past nurses were only women. On the other hand, there are a lot of works associated with men such as truck driver, pilots etc where we can often find women doing it.
