I found in internet some interesting facts that I didn't know about dolphins.
There are some dolphins that live in freshwater rivers. They live in rivers of India and the Amazon River. They have lost their vision because the water of these rivers are very turbid.
Some scientists at the University of St. Andrews, Florida, have concluded that dolphins can recognize and call each other by "name".

•Why do you think that the dolphins helped Nikki to speak? Do you have a theory about this?

Well, as shown in the article, maybe we are so far away to understand the mechanism, because our mind is the most complex structure made at the moment, and to understand its composition and how it works, we only have… our mind!! So, is not a good idea to use in a concept definition the same word to be defined…
My theory? Maybe the vibration frequency of the dolphin sounds start a reaction between the complex neuronal web of the boy… maybe the kindness of those animals activates a biochemical flux of good substances… really not idea!!

•Do you really think the dolphins helped, or is this a case of media exaggeration?

I think there are a lot of things with a difficult explanation by means of scientific method in the actual state of the art. By the other hand, suggestion is a powerful force; but neither unknown causes of therapeutically sounds of dolphins nor unclear suggestion mechanisms have been really understood for Science, by now.
