Misunderstandings

Do you really think it is true?
This story could be a complete fabrication, because it’s difficult to board a plane without the right ticket. Nevertheless, sometimes fact is stranger than fiction.

Is it possible someone could travel two or three hours on a train and really think they had arrived in Turkey?
I think people completely disoriented can believe any think, but the environment is a clue to know whether somebody is in a Muslim country, since it’s supposed people collect information before set off.

Has anything happened to you because you mispronounced, or didn’t understand a word name in another language?
Once, I was walking and a French person asked me about the way to go to a village called Sant Boi. They pronounce syllable –oi- as “ua”, so I couldn’t’ understand where he wanted to go
