misunderstandings

In my country there are many towns who have a double name. And, often, the first of those, is the same that the first of another town. So, once I tried to go in Vilanova del Camí by taxi and the driver misunderstood me and went towards Vilanova i la Geltrú, which is 40 kilometers far away. Luckily, I realized what was happening in time to go back. Anyway, we lost a lot of time to exit the higway to take the right direction.

Hi Avela,

Thanks for posting about your experiences on the noticeboard.

This has happened to me, too. I once got two places called St. Vicenç mixed up - luckily I got to the right one in the end, though!
