There is a lot of cases of doping in sporting history, as Ben Johnson or Carl Lewis But the last famous case that I can remember was in the France Tour. A very good cyclist from US, which name is Floyd Landys, was stripped of his title, after he wins the Tour, in 2006, because he had a positive result in testosterone test.
The news in US said that only after next may, the TAS (Sporting Arbitration Court) from Lausanne will make public the final verdict about the two years of suspension that Floyd Landis was punished.
The cyclist always had declared that he was innocent.

For this reason the sports associates are athletics, swimming and cyclism.
If you search about a possible side effects, you can find a really surprising list. The health problems are very serious, and can affect liver, reproductive system in men and women, circulatory system, skin and hair problems, etc.
