Posted: Wed Jun 11, 2008 8:43 amI think this is not the right room for Linda. It's too expensive and is not located in Brooklyn, as she wants. In the other hand, she's a professional, not a medical student. And moreover, she has a feline and in this room pets are not admitted.
I've found this two adverts in the Internet. I think they match. Don't you?

am currently looking for an apartment starting August 1. I am 27 and have lived for the past three years on the Upper East Side. I work in the Financial District and I will be starting a part-time MBA at NYU this fall. I will be very busy come the fall but I am always down for a burger and a beer. I am very laid back and relaxed guy. I like to run, I just ran my first 10k a couple of weeks ago, I like to read, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer is my favorite book. I like movies, anything from The Diving Bell and the Butterfly to Iron Man. I am very into NYC/US politics and am an avid WNYC listener. My favorite programs are Radio Lab and the Brain Lehrer show. Although I do try and stay very on-top of things I am not one to push my own views on others.
Finally, I've found that the most expensive city too share a flat is New York. Obviously, the prices change in the different parts of the city (Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island), and also change in every neighborhood. Focusing in Midtown-Downtown Manhattan (Chelsea, Grammercy, Hell's Kitchen, East and West Village, Soho, Tribeca, Little Italy...) the prices oscillate between 1250 and 2200$ per month.
In second term, I think London (average 600 pounds per month) and Sydney (average 850 AUD per month) are similar in prices, if we regard to currency changes.
At last, I think Toronto (average 600 CD per month) is the cheapest of the four cities.
