I hope I'm enough eco-friendly...
Posted: Fri Jun 20, 2008 8:09 amMy score for the quiz was 0-3. In fact, it was 0. That makes me think I'm eco-friendly, but I'm sure everyone can always do sometingh more in this field. Although there is always an exception ("every rule has its exception"),nowadays it's difficult to find someone who doesen't think that it's important to be eco-friendly. Most people are concerned about global warming, climatic change, lack of fuel, and so on... but, in fact, many persons don't like to exert themselves to do these little things that make us eco-friendly.
I think these little things are easy to do: recycle rubbish; save energy by turning of lights when you leave rooms; closing windows while air conditioner or heating is working; putting on the washing machine and the dishwasher only when they're completely full; using public transport in town. I'm sure all these things can be done here in our country and by everyone, without distinction. Other matters, like searching for alternative energy sources, are not in our hands, but are a responsability for our governments.
