My name is Rick, I am from Hong Kong, China. The common names in Hong Kong are Lap, Hung, Ming, etc. My family name is quite common but it hasn’t any clue about my family. My name means leader and hero. Every name in my country has its meaning. There are large scales of people from my country using English name, like Paul, Peter and Marco are common names. When we first time to meet people would use surname. Sometimes surname can be our nickname, if so, we don’t use the title in the occasion. Because this would make people more close. We use Wong Choi for dog to show fortune and Mau Mi for cat, different sorts of pet has different names to show different meanings.

Hi, I am Terry, I come from Hong Kong too. I believe my name has a special meaning, because it wishs everyone who has luck in Chinese New Year. In seventeen years ago, my colse friend (My wife at present) gave me a baby dog, he was very cute and I had been living with him for sixteen years since then. Unfortunately, he was past away last year. I really miss all about him night and day. His name is 'Mo Mo'.
