In Madrid the most common names are Lucia, Marta, Andrea, Nacho, Alejandro, ... There are some names that come from other countries like Kevin, Jessica.

My family name is Sanchez. It is a very common surname in Spain and it means "son of Sancho". It comes from Castilla.

I think I only use surnames with a title for doctors. In other situations I use the firstname or the firstname and surname.

In my case it;s the same. Where I'm from, Canary Islands, you can find names from everywhere such us Steven, Michael or even Mohame. But nowadys it's quite common find people who names like Rayco, Ryman, Jonay, Gara or Arima and they are Canary names.

My family name is Garcia. Also it's very common in Spain which meaning I don't really know.

About using surnames with title I would add when you speak with a phone operator.
