Doping in Sports

It can sound surprising, but doping in sport is really ancient: it seems like runners and fighters in the original Olimpic Games, in Greece, already used some plants to enhance their efficiency. More recently, in the modern era, doping has been associated for decades with football, swimming, athletics and cycling. Precisely this is the sport that has been more related with doping in the last years, despite of the regulator organisation's aims to eradicate it. And despite of the great amount of mortal victims that drugs like EPO have provoked: in fact, the firts sportman who died because of taking drugs was a cyclist, a welsh man called Linton, in 1866 during the Paris-Burdeos race.
