In my language, we said ‘you have sharp eyes’ or lynx eyes or when someone is very stubborn, we said you are as stubborn as a mule. Or when you are sleeping all time, some people said you are as snoozy as a dormouse.

I agree with this definition, only with a person who sleeps very often and very quickly, in Girona we said "he sleeps as a marmot".
