Chocolate quiz.
1 Why is chocolate possibly good for you?
Cocoa and chocolate products have been used as medicine in many cultures for centuries. Dark chocolate is good for your heart. A small bar of it every day can help keep your heart and cardiovascular system running well

2 What is the most popular bar of chocolate in the United States/Britain?
The most popular bar of chocolate in the United States is the Snickers.
The Snickers bar ranked highest among the people I polled, and it is my number one favorite, too. Like the Milky Way, it is filled with nougat, but this time the nougat is peanut butter-flavored. Top that with caramel and roasted peanuts, and then cover it with milk chocolate, and you have just about the perfect chocolate bar

3. When was chocolate first sold in solid form? Was initially popular as a drink by the monks and was mostly used in Lent.
The Swiss chocolatier Daniel Peter who in Geneva in the year 1875 is the first to make a chocolate bar with milk. The Daniel technique leaves the finished product with a solid texture.
4 Europe was chocolate first popular as a drink or a food?
As a drink
In Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés may have been the first European to encounter chocolate when he observed it in the court of Montezuma in 1519.[12] In 1568, Bernal Diaz, who accompanied Cortés in the conquest of Mexico, wrote of this encounter which he witnessed:
From time to time they served him [Montezuma] in cups of pure gold a certain drink made from cacao. It was said that it gave one power over women, but this I never saw. I did see them bring in more than fifty large pitchers of cacao with froth in it, and he drank some of it, the women serving with great reverence

5.Is chocolate really addictive?
Chocolate has caffeine in it, which can be highly addictive. Other products that have caffeine which are more well known to have people become addicted are such things as coffee, tea, & soda, just to name a few. So yes, it is possible to become addicted; caffeine causes endorphins to flow through your brain, creating a pleasurable feeling, which some people's body will crave (just like my dad cannot function in the morning without his coffee).
