Blizzard is bringing back one of Diablo 4's most beloved events, the March of the Goblins. Starting March 4 and running through March 11, this event will see an increase in the appearance of Treasure Goblins across Sanctuary. However, this year’s event promises to be even more exciting, as Blizzard has added new features to keep players engaged. The biggest change is the addition of a reputation track, new rewards, and fresh Goblin variants, making the event more rewarding and dynamic than ever before.

The new Goblin variants include the Odious Ector, Gilded Baron, Glittering Prym, Curious Murl, Gelatinous Syrus, and the ultra-rare Fancy Old Fedric. Each of these Goblins drops different types of loot, from crafting materials and gold to gems, Obols, and even Mythic Unique items. Among these, the Fancy Old Fedric is a particularly exciting addition, as it can drop high-tier items like the Resplendent Spark, which will be highly sought after by players aiming to enhance their gear.

A major addition to this year’s event is the reputation track. Players will earn reputation points each time they defeat a Treasure Goblin, and these points will unlock various rewards. The more Goblins you hunt, the more rewards you can earn, including increased chances of receiving Treasure Bags, which offer even more loot. This reputation system provides an additional layer of progression to the event, giving players something to work towards while they enjoy the hunt.

Blizzard's decision to extend Season 7 by two weeks creates the perfect window for this event to shine, giving players extra time to take part in the event and explore its new mechanics. With no new expansions planned for 2025, events like the March of the Goblins will be crucial in keeping the Diablo 4 experience fresh and engaging in the coming months. For Diablo fans, this event is a great way to enjoy new content and earn valuable rewards.
