This festival is celebrated in the middle of March, when the Winter is finished. Well it’s not exactly a festival it's like an open-air museum. In each district there are monuments called fallas.
This monuments will be burned the last day of the holiday in honour to San Josep, the pattern of the party.
A lot of people cry when the “fallas” are burned and all the city is full of Fireworks.
All the people prepare special food, like paella and bunyuelos.
Paella is the most international dish rice, everybody to come visit Valencia ask to paella. Is cooked in a big frying pad and the principal ingredients are rice, chicken and beans.
In the afternoon, people go to the city center to eat bunyelos with chocolate. The “bunyelos” are round sweet like donuts
People wear traditional clothes inspirated in the 18 century.
