Found photos

I must confess that I never feel comfortable when I see picture of mine in the internet. Although time ago only famous people had access to have a “place” in the media, nowadays, with the spread of the social nets such us “Facebook” or “Twitter” between others, anybody can appear in the internet.

Since my point of view, the tricky question is who is the owner of the picture? the person that takes it or the person that appears on it? This is the real “crux of the matter”: since I think that each one is the owner of it image, I think that none picture should be published without the permission of the person that appears on it.

I suppose that my theory will not be extremely “applauded” by “paparazzis” or by “Social Net addict-users”, but it is the policy that I use before I share pictures between my “facebook friends”: I never publish pictures without my friends knowledge, and of course embarrassing pictures are avoided.

Hello Iremesal,

Thanks for posting about this subject. I agree with your opinion about publishing photos, but I think that there are many people who don't. It is all too easy nowadays to find photos of yourself all over the internet!
