Missing - What do you think?

1. What do you think?
I think Betty Ross might have been murdered by her husband in connection with a crime of passion. A crime of passion, in popular usage, refers to a crime in which the perpetrator commits a crime, especially assault or murder, against a spouse or other loved one because of sudden strong impulse such as a jealous rage or heartbreak rather than as a premeditated crime. A typical crime of passion, for example, might involve a husband who discovers his wife has made him a cuckold and proceeds to brutally batter or even kill his wife or the man with whom she was involved.
2. Missing people.
In Hong Kong, there is a regular and popular television programme about missing people called the Police Report. It is a weekly 5 minutes TV programme jointly produced by Radio Television Hong Kong and Hong Kong Police Force. Primarily it aims at appealing to the general public the recent crime trends, giving crime prevention advises and sometimes posting notices of persons found missing with a view to inviting viewers to help find the persons. The programme is aired every Saturday evening on TVB Pearl at 19:20, and Sunday evening on ATV World at 18:55.
3. Make yourself disappear.
If I were to disappear, I would first go off to a new location. The smaller the new location is, the less likely anyone will have knowledge or record on me. I would then arrange to undergo a plastic surgery to completely change my facial appearance. Then, I would register with the local government with a new identity if situation warrants. Before the acquisition of the new identity for getting a full time job and opening a bank account, I would lay low in my new location, do odd jobs, though, and keep my money at home. To give people the wrong idea of my sudden disappearance, I, not being a good swimmer, would arrange to go out with some friends to an outlying island for hiking, fishing or whatsoever purpose and then pretend to have been swept out to sea by a freak wave.
