The website at http://www.missingpeople.org.uk provides a comprehensive support for missing children, vulnerable adults and families left in limbo. There are some missing persons stores with "happy ending". The following is one of them.

Margaret always regretted her first marriage. She now says she was far too young and it was no surprise it ended in a messy divorce. But she never forgot her son Benjamin who at the time of the split was aged just four and went off to live with his dad. Things were so bad that all contact was lost. Then as the years went by Margaret remarried and had a new family. There was only one thing spoilling her happiness- her desperate need to find Ben again. Finally, Margaret, rang Missing People and asked for assistance. After two years of work, one of Missing People'e letters about his case reached Ben, who is now 23. It was passed on by the army which he had joined at 16. He contacted his mother and was overjoyed to discover he was no longer alone in the world.
