a) In your country.
Are there yubbies, yuppies or middle youthers in your country?

I must confess I’m not really interested in social groups and the way they evolve.
I tend to look at people individually, and even if it might be possible to see some likenesses between the way they dress, their jobs and, in a word, the way they live their lives, there’s always something that makes them singular, and it’s precisely that aspect I’m interested in.
Having said that, I suppose yes, in Spain there are yubbies, yuppies, middle youthers and all the tendences in between, but I really couldn’t tell, for I’m not a great tendencies-observer. On the other hand, I’m a working class person, so I don’t usually interact with wealthy people or move in their circles (mind you: social classes might not be a trend, but they do determine the way you get your hair cut, your clothes and where you live. If you’re working class, you just get cheap stuff, and if you ever have an expensive thing it’ll look cheap on you, because it will be the only expensive thing you have.)
To me, people are basically distributed according to their socio-economic class, and that’s the way it’s always been. Specific attire and conversational topics depend on what we see on television.
