There is a special social group in my City, Hong Kong. The group is composed of young people aged between 15 and 25 and they have two common problems i.e. school-less and jobless. We call them or even label them as 'Double Loss' in Chinese. They are mostly secondary school graduates while some of them are University graduates holding a Bachelor Degree or a Master Degree! They failed to find a job after their graduation so they bacome penniless. They could only rely on their parents to meet their basic expenditure. They repeatedly failed the job interview and become hopeless. They isolate themselves by hiding in the bedroom. They play TV games, online games all the time and they sleep round the clock. They refuse social assistance and their self-esteem drops to the bottom. Recently, the situation has improved because the economy growth. The employment rate increases gradually while the number of 'Double Loss' decreases.

I live in Spain and what you say sounds familiar to me. Here in Spain, we talk about ´30something at home´.

It comes from the ´baby boom´in the seventies, because the economy in Spain was growing very fast. In the past fewer people could study in the University ´cause it was quite expensive, and when we came to the eighties and nineties everybody wanted their sons and daughters to finish Bachelor and Master Degrees... So we had the Market full of Bachelors, but no professionals as mechanics, carpenters or electricians... And it was really hard to find job in the activity you had been formed to.

Now, people finds job more easily, but their salaries doesn´t allow them to get independent, because of the price of flats in property or in loan, and life has grown quite expensive since 2002 when Euro came to our economies
