While I find the idea behind "Obliteration Room" fun, I'm not quite sure about it being considered art. It's an interesting activity for sure, but I think the lack of guidance from the artist and the consequent lack of technical knowledge and structure from the participants sort of changes that. Sure, it might be visually appealing, and not all art has to be technically perfect, but what stops this from being random colored circles placed wherever on top of walls and objects when no one knows what they're really doing or what they're trying to communicate?

I think art in public places is a great way for artists to show people their work and educate them on the different styles of art there is. It's very important in keeping our cultural knowledge rich and our minds open.

I haven't really been to an art exibition lately, but I have been following a lot of photographers online and some of their shots are stunning. My favorite ones were from a photographer shooting a surfing event in Hawaii, and the photos he took of the waves while surfing along with the amazing scenery and sunsets made for a beautiful theme.
