I think that charities are a good idea. Fortunately lots of helps that goes to some countries for poor people becomes from other people of countries that have a higer economic level and culture,
Is good to be united in a comon purpose mainly if is for helpping underprivileged people.

I agree, but, if we want to solve this problem we must work hardly. The only way to solve it is deleting the original cause.

Charities is a good solution for the poor people but only as first measure. The following and most important solution is that the underprivileged people can have own resources and not depend on the charity of the rich people.
