Unit 2 Private investigator

I think being a private investigator has to be hard. It’s an individual job in which, you are always alone ( you don’t want to be seen!) and also requires of pacience The vast majority of us imagine that a private investigator has to be good-looking, brave, an independent person, inteligent.. just like in films!. Nothing further from the truth. Precisely, years ago I worked at a photo store. Great majority of our clients were “normal” people, but from time to time appeared special clients, one of these happened to be a private investigator. Thanks to this, I had first-hand information. Unfortunately he wasn’t good-looking but very smart. He explained me that in general is very boring because you have to be alone many hours. Most of his cases were divorces or investigating workers that suposed to be “on leave”. On the other hand not many people can afford this service is quite expensive. Usually it’s used by big companies and wealthy people.
I wouldn’t like this type of job, I don’t like being alone. In fact, all the jobs that I’ve had in the past and the one that I have now , I’m always with people around.

I am Agree with you, in my opinion, being a private investigator have to be a very boring job. Although the movies don't show the romantic side of the profession. They used to be alcoholics, lonely, always in a bad mood. Although the mackintosh and the fedora are so smashing!

I had wanted to be a secret agent, It's more dangerous, but it worths it! If I would have the skills I were an agent of the CNI, CIA or the MI6, I'm not thinking about James Bound. I like the idea of knowing languages, infiltrated in an enemy country, get vital information, knowing interesting people ... It has to be terrific!
