The first residents went to live in the White House in 1800.

2. Who were the first residents?
The first residents were the President John and his wife Abigail.

3. Why the mansion was called Graceland?
Elvis bought the mansion to Sir Thomas and Ruth Moore.
Sir Thomas and Ruth Moore had a daughter, called Grace. They called Graceland Mansion in honour their daughter.

4. In which year did the government plan to demolish Downing Street?
The government planned to demolish Downing Street between 1950 and 1960.
