Missing - Net Search

A similar story which I could find in the internet (missingpeople.org.uk) is the one about Mrs Laura Haines. Thirty-eight-year-old Laura Haines left her partner and two young children and disappeared from her home eight years ago. Her family have not heard from her since. Mrs Haines, who was separated from her husband Bill, went missing in February 1997 from her home in Bristol. She left a note for her partner David and money for her children Adam, now 17, and Lauren, 15. She had just broken up with David and she really did not know what to do. She left the house in the early hours of the morning and didn't come back. There have been no real sightings of her since and no leads as to what may have happened to her. Laura's two children are still at school and are being looked after by their father Bill in York. They have had to get used to their mother not being there.

In my opinion, the website at http://www.missingpeople.org.uk is the best as it gives detailed description and summary of each and every missing person’s case.

There are many “happy endings” that can be found in the same website. To quote just a few shining examples, a mum found her missing son after 16-year search, a sister found her brother after he was missing for 29 years, a younger sister found her sister after she was missing for 15 years, etc.
