[HERMINIA ESTEVEZ]

My family name, Estévez, comes from Galicia, to be exact from Quiroga Valley, in the province of Lugo. Now, we can found this name in another parts of Spain (Granada, for instance), and even in Argentina and another ncountries, in South America.
I couldn't find another Herminia Estevez on the Web!. There are two references there, but related to me (a book I translated from English to Spanish and a remark about a course of cooking I took part some years ago). But, apart from this, you can't find anything. I feel the only one of my sort!

I want to make some comments about your first name. In greek language "Herminia" means something between "explanation" and "interpretation". It is sound as its origin comes from God Hermis.

Hi Heminia, I am learning many things about you.I didn't Know you came from Galicia, or that your name cames from god's Hermes. It means that
Hermes is said to have invented the lyre. He found, one day, a tortoise, of which he took the shell, made holes in the opposite edges of it, and drew cords of linen through them, and the instrument was complete. The cords were nine, in honor of the nine Muses. Hermes gave the lyre to Apollo, and received from him in exchange the caduceus.
