The situation is changing slowly.
The reality is that men usually work on “manual” jobs (basically, the primary sector) and as Managers and women usually work as secretaries, teachers, sellers, etc... or at home.
Now, a lot of women study technical studies -mostly male- so they are arriving where they proposed. But the majority of managers are men…and in the same job, with the same responsabilities, a man is earning more money than a woman. It is the result of a policy that during a lot of years had considered the woman an inferior creature.
