3. Moon stories.
The sea and the moon. A love story.
Long ago and far away there was a small town washed by the sea. During the day he was being away from the coast but at night was flooding part of town bringing the most beautiful sea objects. He thinks that no one says him, but there was someone who doesn’t sleep at night to see this wonderful action of the waves.
She was the moon, who from that so far distance watched him every night, and without her knowing how she fell in love with him.
One night the moon was lamenting this impossible love and her pain was so great that she began to cry. Her silver tears fell to the sea like a soft rain.
The sea looked up and saw the moon and asked her:
- Why are you crying, my friend moon? What is troubling you, silver lovely?
- I cry for you my loved sea, I watch you every night. I see how you increase when I appear above the horizon. I see your waves come to the town, the fishes and corals. I see you smile. I see you majestic in the dark night. I could not avoid falling in love with you.
- Dry your tears. I know that you are watching me for months. You are awake all night to see my waves and that you want to be near me. I feel the same. Every night, I try to do a new show for you, because of you never forget me despite the distance.
After this long conversation, the sea and the moon pledged eternal love.
Each night, the sea tide comes in more and more to see better his beloved moon and sometimes the moon get down and lies down on the horizon just touching the sea. And this true love fortunately still exists today.
