I have been searching out Internet some sayings because I think that if I translate the sayings I know -from Spanish to English- the meaning would change and it would be a different message.
So, the first I have found is: ' A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush'. Another less materialist 'In order to be a Friend, we first need to be a Friend'.
But I wonder how translate one of my favorite: En casa de herrero, cuchillo de palo.
Anyone knows how is the English version of this statement?
