MOON STORIES
I don’t know stories about the Moon, but I find on internet this story:
One day, a man named James was walking his dog Sparky. He noticed the sun was going down and ran home as fast as he could. This town and all others got very dark at night.
When James got home, he got out his paper punches of a giant circle and a small circle. He then punched one giant circle to let in light.
James realized it was still much too dark out. He then punched out millions of little circles. They let in light.
The world was brighter with all of these holes in it! James needed a name for his creations. His friend Luna said, "My name is Luna which means Moon, why don't you call your giant creation the Moon."
James agreed and the giant circle became the Moon.
Now, he had one more problem, he didn't know what to call his small creations. He thought he was doomed for good and was about to give up when he thought, "Wait a minute, I'll call my friend Professor Starr!"
Professor Starr was one of James's best friends since they were no older than five years old. Professor Starr listened to James's problem and said, "I am your best friend, correct?"
"That's right," James replied.
Professor said, "I am also the smartest person you know, right?"
James said, "You're right again! I'll call these little holes in the sky the stars after you Professor Starr!"
James took great pride in what he had done, and he lived happily ever after.
