Every group is a mixed-ability group

That is so very true. Even when we try to group students depending on their abilities and results, they are all different and learn things in different ways. And yes, it is difficult to keep everybody's attention because what one might like, others might find it too easy or boring or simply a waste of time. But being a teacher is a constant challenge, right?
