Yes, I suffered from RSI in my wrists for my work, all day typing.
I often get aches and pains in my neck and back.
2. Do you make sure that you sit and type correctly when you use a computer or typewriter? Do you ever have pains in any parts of your body from using the computer for long periods of time?
No I don't sit correctly. Yes, in my wrists, neck and back.
3. What advice would you give to someone who has just bought a computer to prevent problems like RSI and aches and pains in the back, shoulders and arms? Write five suggestions. Read the suggestions of your classmates and vote for the best five.
You should always keep your wrists straight and flat.
Move your shoulders up slowly and dawn fast, first right and second lefth.
Move the hands from the arms, not from the wrists.
Adjust your chair and keyboard to do this.
Also remember to take lots of breaks to give your body a chance to rest.
When you use the mouse, alternate hands sometimes with the mouse and learn how to use more of the keyboard controls instead of the mouse.
4. Do you think the exercises described in READING are very useful and effective?
Yes I think so.
5. Do you do any exercises during or after working at a desk for a long period of time? Describe two. Then read the exercises posted on the Noticeboard and choose the ones you like best.
I made breathings, I to breathe in to count slowly mentally since three, stopped a moment and expel, count slowly mentally since five. Repeat the exercise 3 successive times, three times to day.
Move your shoulders to the back, and turn their to normal position, and afther it, move your shoulders in front, and turn their to normal position.
