I wouldn't like to travel independently, I prefer the comfort of the hotels, you can sleep in a beautiful and comfortable bed. I was a weekend in the mountains with my friends, and it was terrible, I had very cool, because when we went to sleep, the zipper of the tent was broken, the flashlight hadn't baterries, I couldn't sleep until next day, I only thought that a snake could be in the tent or any animal, it was horrible...
The equipment that I would take is the following:
One tent in good conditions, sleeping bag, a lot of batteries, matches, pots and pan, waterproof water, a stove and boots, so we could go to the mountains.
