The industry of cinema in Spain has a too strong competition with American one and they are in crisis for a long time ago. However, in spite of all problems the Spanish they get to survive and every year keep making a few very good films.
In addition, every time more Spanish actress and actors get to work in American movies, like Antonio Banderas, Penélope Cruz, or lately Javier Bardem, who won an Oscar for his role as a psychopath in “No country for old men”, the last film of Cohen’s brothers.
